Yesterday we wrote about the opening of Sorso Wine Room, a wonderful new wine room that opened in Scottsdale Quarter just south of Eddie V’s. Today we wanted to share with you our experience…which was a HOME RUN!

The wine room is beautifully designed with an inviting mixture of woods and metals and Edison lighting throughout, with an open space kitchen. The patio is a sure to be seen hotspot in the Scottsdale Quarter.

We tried the dispensing experience and loved it. This genius process gave us the opportunity to try some wines we might not have otherwise had a chance to Sorso (sip in Italian). We can’t wait to see what wine tasting events they put on!

And the food? The charcuterie was PERFECT! You’re probably asking yourself, what makes a perfect charcuterie? What we love is, when a platter has a balance of distinctive flavors from different cheeses, meats, nuts, fruits and jams. When this happens, you become a personal chef at the table preparing your own little mini-creations! The bruschetta was packed with so many fantastic flavors, the two we tried, Salami Pesto and Prosciutto de Parma, were both beautifully packed with distinctive flavors!

We will (for sure) be going back for more and often! You’ll probably find us camped out and working at our new favorite spot and we’re looking forward to trying the Espresso Con Panna! That might just have to happen tomorrow!
