    Get ‘em before they’re gone! Chompie’s has just announced the launch of three limited-time-only menu items available Friday, March 8 through Friday, May 10. Spring specials include:   Classic Club Sandwich — This sandwich is loaded with sliced turkey breast, ham, bacon, Swiss and cheddar cheeses, green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato and mayo on sourdough bread and served with wedge fries, $16.99 Corned Beef Reuben Chompadilla — Giving the quintessential quesadilla a New York spin, this dish features sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and 1000 Island dressing in a grilled flour tortilla and served with coleslaw, $15.99   Chicken Philly Sandwich — This East Coast favorite is done Chompie’s style with sliced chicken breast, sauteed green peppers and onions and melted jack cheese packed into a club roll and served with wedge fries, $15.99   These dishes are available at Chompie’s locations around the valley.   A representative from Chompie’s is available to prepare and present these dishes and other Chompie’s favorites for television segments in-studio or on-site anytime.   For more, visit chompies.com.

    Macayo’s Mexican Food Announces 3rd Annual Chimi Challenge Championship Now through SEPT. 24

    Macayo’s Mexican Food Chimi Challenge is back! The beloved restaurant brand has just announced the qualifying period for the 3rd Annual Chimi Challenge Championship is now open! From now through Saturday, Aug. 31, contestants can try their hand at Macayo’s Chimi Challenge — for a chance to qualify for the Chimi Challenge Championship, which is slated for Saturday, Sept. 28.   To qualify, guests must finish a five-pound chimichanga ($30), which is filled with choice of shredded beef, shredded chicken or chalupa mixed with Mexican rice and refried beans and then topped with red enchilada sauce, Macayo’s famous Baja sauce, fire-roasted tomatillo sauce, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, mixed cheese and jack cheese.   This behemoth chimi must be finished in 20 minutes or less and guests that successfully complete their attempt will win Macayo’s for a year! The Macayo’s Chimi Challenge is available for dine-in only at all Macayo’s streetside locations valleywide.   The top contestant from each location will qualify to move on to the 3rd Annual Chimi Challenge Championship⁠, where all qualifiers will compete against the reigning Chimi Champion from 2023. The launch-ready teams have been working on their ventures for the past year and through Bear Down and Pitch, they will compete for thousands of dollars. These highly motivated student teams master the conceptual and practical skills needed to turn their ideas into ventures, solve real-world problems and serve the needs of real people in society. It is thanks to the active Phoenix investors and venture capitalists for coming together to get a glimpse of the Eller College McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship’s new innovative business ventures.
