    Date: September 5, 2020 - December 13, 2020

LDV Winery, nestled among the Chiricahua Mountain foothills in southeastern Arizona, invites local wine lovers to take in Arizona Wine Country — where social distancing was an art long before it was a requirement. With specific events designed for wine lovers to experience the area beyond the winery, there is something for everyone!   Cochise County, where LDV Winery is located, is just a three and a half hour drive from Phoenix and an hour and a half drive from Tucson. But at 5,000-foot elevation, the area offers a cool mountain getaway in a quiet town steeped in Western history and abundant in new world award-winning wines. While a day trip can be done, guests are encouraged to stay awhile. Two of LDV Winery’s nearby lodging partners include Double R Guest Ranch and Dos Cabezas Retreat Bed & Breakfast and LDV Winery Sky Islander Wine Club members receive discounts on wines, tastings, special events, and complimentary vineyard visits.   Private Vineyard and Winery Tours LDV Winery offers private vineyard and winery tours and tastings that provide an in-depth look into the world of wine. Guests can learn firsthand from the LDV Winery owners/winemakers about their approach to sustainable grape-growing and winemaking; take a walking tour of the vineyard and winery to understand how their award-winning wines are produced; and enjoy a tasting of LDV’s newest releases. After the tour, guests are invited to enjoy a bottle of wine and a casual summer afternoon at the vineyard playing outdoor games like bag toss, horseshoes, or roping. Additional wine is available for purchase and take away. Tasting fee is $20 per person, waived with purchase of six bottles or more. By appointment only; call 480-664-4822 or email info@LDVWinery.com.   Ride & Wine: AZ Cowboy Vintner Experience LDV Winery and Double R Ranch in Benson offer this Western-style experience that begins with a traditional cowboy breakfast and early morning ride at Double R Ranch. Guests will then travel to LDV Winery for a “Vintner for a Day” experience where they will take a course in “grape growing and “winemaking 101” at the LDV Winery estate, tour the winery and taste some of LDV’s popular award-winning wines. Guests will enjoy a hearty BBQ meal at LDV Winery before heading back to Double R Ranch for some storytelling around the campfire. Minimum group size required; call 520-212-6943 or email doublerguestranch@gmail.com for more information and to make reservations.   Health, Wellness & Wine Package For those that want to recharge and rejuvenate their health while also sipping in some viticulture, LDV Winery offers a full day dedicated to health, wellness and of course wine, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome reception including a pre-yoga juice and nibbles followed by a 60-minute yoga class on the winery crush pad breathing in the fresh Chiricahua Mountain air.
