In honor of Black History Month, Kitsune Brewing Co. is launching an exclusive black IPA named Know History. Throughout the month of February, Tyler Smith, co-owner of Kitsune with his wife Rebecca, is donating a percentage of this limited-time-only pour to Black Girls Code, an organization dedicating to creating pathways for young women of color to embrace the current tech marketplace as builders and creators by introducing them to skills in computer programming and technology.

“As a black-owned business and the only black-owned brewery in the state, we want to use our position to help,” says Smith who opened Kitsune Brewing Co. in October 2022. “I want to help break down racial stigmas and serve as a voice for diversity in our industry.”

All month long, proceeds from the Know History IPA will benefit Black Girls Code. For more about Kitsune Brewing Co. and its current craft beers on tap, visit kitsunebrewingco.com.
