On Wednesday, April 6 Macayo’s Mexican Food, the longstanding Mexican food restaurant brand with locations throughout the valley, rolls out its new beverage program. The new selections are a result of a project that began with a review of the brand’s current beverage menu. From that research Macayo’s collaborated with Jason Asher and Mat Snapp of Barter & Shake, which presented Macayo’s with a multitude of innovative and enticing new beverage selections.

Macayo’s new beverage program encompasses all these things and is a comprehensive expression of extensive market research on trending flavors and drinks around the country and regionally. New cocktails to be included on the new beverage menu include:

Bee’s Passion featuring house gin, house made sweet and sour and passion fruit topped with Strawberry Citrus Smash Spiked Ice

Berry Cooler — house vodka, house made sweet and sour and raspberry topped with Lemonade Refresher Spiked Ice

Cantarito featuring Corazon Blanco, house made sweet and sour and orange juice topped with Ruby Fizz Spiked Ice

Guava Colada  Myer’s Platinum Rum, house made sweet and sour, pineapple juice coconut and guava with a Myer’s Dark Rum float

Ranch Water — made with Corazon Blanco, house made sweet and sour and pineapple topped with Cherry Lime Chiller Spiked Ice

Red Sangria featuring house red blend, Gran Gala Orange Liqueur, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, house made sweet and sour, lime juice, orange juice and blackberry (photo attached)

White Sangria — house pinot grigio, Gran Gala Orange Liqueur, Mr. Boston Peach Schnapps, house made sweet and sour, lime juice, guava and peach

Macayo’s Mexican Food restaurants will also feature a new-to-market hard seltzer from Sparkling Ice. The line of Sparkling Ice Spiked beverages are low calorie and contain zero sugar. Various flavors are featured in some of the cocktails noted above and are available to purchase by the can for $4.25 each.

To complement the brand’s bright and bold new beverage program, Macayo’s is featuring beautiful new glassware, helping to make every sip a celebration. New products include cantarito glasses as well as clay mugs for $9.99 each. New glassware  — as well as existing items in Macayo’s home product line such as Macayo’s margarita glasses, $19.95 for a set of four, and Macayo’s glass carafe, $11.95 each — will be available for purchase online at www.macayo.com/shop.
