New year, new menu for Brat Haus in Scottsdale
The Brat Haus patio is no stranger to the Scottsdale nightlife and eatery scene, but its new 2016menu will have you coming back to experience your classic German favorites with ramen, pork belly and Birkensquash.
Here is a highlight of the new drinks from Brat Haus mixologist Matt, that you can look forward to pairing with the vivacious new menu.
The Holla Back Girl features Buffalo Trace (a spicy Bourbon), Girrard Banana, Cream Sherry and Bigallette China China.
The Hogwash is a given to pair with your meat plates as it features Bacon Washed Bourbon, Lemon, Red Wine and a frothy Egg White. The red wine is placed in the shape of a fitting pig. Cheers to bacon!
To round the drinks, a list of new menu items are downright brilliant, and bring Brat Haus to a new level when it comes to dining. To start, order the giant Vegan Pretzel with beer cheese fondido to share with the table.
Next, try the crispy Pork Belly Bites. The bacon is tossed in a tart and tangy vinaigrette and served with a truffle aioli. Save a few of these to pair with the new Kale Salad.
This tuscan kale salade features apple, roasted and chopped brussel srouts, pepitas and something the haus calls birkinsquash. This hybrid squash comes from local McClendon Farms and is a breed between a Pumpkin and Butternut Squash.
If you’re not full yet, try on of the new Sausage Plates. If you are feeling adventerous, the collaboration with Umami features Ginger Pork and Chicken Sausage, Ramen, Miso Slaw, Eel Sauce and Fortune.
This new menu will be released after the new year and will be a fresh beginning for 2016.
