This Special Needs to Be a Regular

The Dish: Chilean Seabass w/Miso Glaze
The Place: Isabella’s Kitchen
The Location: 8623 East Thompson Peak Parkway Scottsdale, Arizona 85255 Phone: 480.502.3100

Styled after an Italian country bistro, Isabella’s Kitchen is located on Grayhawk Golf Course in north Scottsdale across the street from the club house. The open decor is one of the best places in the valley to go and enjoy a beautiful open air dining and drinking experience (so great a lot of the locals would probably prefer to keep it to themselves). As a matter of fact, if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a fire, glass of wine and a beautiful sunset…you found your spot in Isabella’s.

Friday night we were lucky enough to see on their Facebook feed a featured special, Chilean Seabass with Miso glaze, so we had to come in and try it. The dish was out of this world! The certified Chilean Sea bass was cooked to perfection, the miso glaze was incredibly balanced which was complimented beautifully with bok choy, maitaki mushrooms, bacon, and shallots. This dish needs to become a regular on their menu!

If you’re headed in for a few drinks, try some of their starters, we love the Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Pan Seared Brussels Sprouts, the meatballs, and bruschetta! Oh and make sure you ask Claudia the manager, what you should try on the dessert menu you can’t go wrong with any selection!

We love to see your menu evolve Chef Peña and are big fans of everything you’re doing, so please add your wonderful Chilean Sea Bass to the menu so it can be a regular in our rotation!

Drink well and eat happy!
