Ahh, Italy. Land of romance, history, culture and incredible cuisine. We may not all have the opportunity to visit this magnificent country in our lifetimes, but thanks to the Italian Association of Arizona, you may not necessarily need to. Enjoy sumptuous, authentic Italian cuisine, live music and entertainment, shopping, and wine, of course, on March 24th and 25th at the 5th Annual Italian Festival.

There will be no lack of things to do, see, and taste at this colorful, cultural event. Two stages will host entertainment ranging from operatic performances, to comedy, to dancing. One of the more unique shows will be a cooking demonstration by Don Pasta, Italian performance artist and food activist. And don’t be surprised if you see some iconic Italian rides dotting the premises (Ferrari, anyone?).

Just a few of the amazing vendors you’ll encounter while strolling the grounds are Fabio on Fire (pizza and bakery), Lulu’s Italian Ice, Sogno Toscano Olive Oil, Arizona Cutlery, Herbescent Tea & Botanicals, Art on the Wild Side, the Musical Instrument Museum, Woven Angel Jewelry, Goaz Motorcycles, and Fantastica Italian Travel Agency.

And, of course, wear those stretchy pants, because you’ll want to indulge in as much authentic pasta, paninis, gelato and vino as possible from vendors like Tutti Santi Ristorante, Guido’s, Caffe Milano, Taormina Gourmet, Desirable Desserts, Nonna Urban Eater, and many more.

Partnering with St. Vincent de Paul and the City of Scottsdale, The Italian Association of Arizona promises this event to be a delicious, vibrant, entertaining, and informative affair, and truly fun for all ages. Tickets are available online ($10) and at the door ($15); children under 12 are free. Viva Italia!
