Wrigley Mansion Wine Festival

The first annual Wrigley Mansion Wine Festival is coming to The Valley on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7, 2021. Held at the historic Wrigley Mansion (2501 E Telawa Trail), the weekend will include a series of interactive and engaging events featuring some of the wine world’s biggest names and the Wrigley Mansion’s wine team.  

The festival kicks off on Friday, August 6 at 6:00 p.m. with an intimate Winemaker Dinner hosted by Scherrer Winery’s Fred Scherrer on the mansion’s veranda. During this special evening, guests will enjoy unparalleled views, a menu paired with pours from Scherrer Winery, and the “Unplugged & Uncorked Winemaker Jam” featuring live music by Fred Scherrer and Master Sommelier Michael Jordan. Tickets to the dinner are $196 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. 

Saturday’s main event is the Grand Wine Tasting, held on August 7 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. At this walk-around tasting, guests may sample more than 40 wines from across the world and enjoy bites from Wrigley Mansion’s Chef Ashley Goddard. Featured wines include selections from Freemark Abbey Winery, Gran Moraine Winery, WillaKenzie Estate, Hartford Family Winery, Capture Wines, Mt. Brave Wines, La Jota Vineyard, Matanzas Creek, Kistler, Heitz, Frog’s Leap and many more. Tickets are $150 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. A portion of proceeds from the Grand Wine Tasting will benefit Almost There Rescue, a foster care facility for dogs.  

Those who book the Grand Tasting may also opt to purchase tickets to attend three interactive wine seminars being held the afternoon of Saturday, August 7. At these hands-on events, attendees can blend Cabernet Sauvignon with Master Sommelier Thomas Price, sample Rosé with winemakers Fred Scherrer, Sam Teakle and Eugenia Keegan, or pair chocolate and wine with Master Sommelier Michael Jordan.  

An All-Inclusive Wine Festival Weekend Package is also available and includes the Winemaker Dinner, Grand Wine Tasting, and two seminars for $450 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Tickets to all Wrigley Mansion Wine Festival events are available via Tock.
