LDV Winery Celebrates New Wine Release

LDV Winery Owners and Winemakers Curt Dunham and Peggy Fiandaca are raising a glass in celebration of their latest wine release — the 2015 Sky Island Grenache, a perfect varietal to sip this summer! In honor of this new release, LDV Winery Tasting Room, located at 7134 E. Stetson Drive Suite B100, is offering a 10 percent discount on this new wine on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25 during Tasting Room hours.

“As winemakers and wine lovers, it’s always fun for us to debut a new release and to enjoy it with our wine community,” says Fiandaca. “We hope everyone can join us in celebrating the release of our new 2015 Sky Island Grenache and that they enjoy it in their own homes for special occasions or simply everyday celebrations.”

The new 2015 Sky Island Grenache was produced with 100 percent Grenache fruit grown at the LDV Winery vineyard and estate in Southeastern Arizona. Aged for 31 months in all-neutral oak barrels to showcase the fruit flavors of that vintage, the 2015 Sky Island Grenache features beautiful floral aromas that give way to rich fruit and spice on the palate.

A fruit-forward varietal, the new release is bursting with strawberries and pomegranate flavors on the palate, finishing with the essence of tart cherries and spice of white pepper. Ideal served with grilled poultry, salmon or seafood, or simply sipped on its own, the 2015 Sky Island Grenache is neither fined nor filtered.
