Arcosanti Hosts Four-Week Archival Workshop Experience NOV. 6-DEC. 1

This fall, Arcosanti presents a unique opportunity for guests to participate in important archival work that allows attendees to study the wealth of historical knowledge and media developed at Arcosanti, learn and preserve the lineage of theory and practice of this urban experiment and clean and maintain historic architectural documents and models.

Taking place from Monday, Nov. 6 through Friday, Dec. 1, the four-week program lets students discover and document the posterity of past work including art, sketches, text documents, construction documents, architectural models, drawings and photographs. Students will also have opportunities to help disseminate archival information to the public via displays and exhibits, catalog and digitize past work and live, work and learn in the same space.

Cost for the entire four-week program is $1,400, which includes tuition, lunch five days per week, housing, facilities and field trips. Upon graduation, students will join the more than 8,000 alumni who have helped build the arcology of Arcosanti.
