About Wine, established in 2016, is a wine education and marketing company that provides customized wine classes and marketing packages.  As a business owner with over 25 years of marketing, sales and retail experience, my goal is to help you reach your goal.

I host one-time basic wine classes for a personal home parties, as well as corporate team-building events at venues such as a hotel ball-rooms.  “Darla provided a wonderful overview for my sales team of global wine growing regions and specific varietals which were great tasting and value priced” said the Sr. Vice President of Sales for an International Corporation who hosted their annual sales meeting at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort.

I’ve discovered great pleasure in providing wine classes for retirement communities. “Darla Hoffmann has provided our residents with an educational 12-week course study of the Wine Industry and Wine Regions around the World, with tastings included in each week’s class.  She has created a following of  wine enthusiasts; we are happy to have her as part of our Cal-am team!” said Carrie Flower, Regional Assistant Lifestyle Director.  Cal-Am Resorts has over 12,000 residents with a state-of-the art room for wine education and more.  In all honesty, I’m not sure who enjoys the classes more, me or them.

Some of my most treasured and spontaneous experiences have been working on videos and social media for winemakers from New Zealand, France and Italy for them to gain visibility in the U.S. market.  The Phoenix Metropolitan area is becoming a highly recognized “Meca” for importing wine as our dining establishments and high caliber retail shops have been effortlessly showcasing themselves to the world.   I enjoy doing wine tastings at venues throughout the valley driving sales and sharing the beautiful nuances each product has to offer.  “Whenever we are doing demos where extensive wine knowledge is needed, Darla’s on the top of my list” said Mark Gluckman, South West Team Lead for Salespros, an industry leader for in-store adult beverage marketing services.
