Phoenix is over 1,600 miles from the original Culver’s in Sauk City, Wis., but on May 20, people throughout the Valley will enjoy a taste of America’s Dairyland courtesy of the home of Wisconsin Cheese Curds and Fresh Frozen Custard. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day, Culver’s is “exporting Wisconsin” through a larger-than-life experience at the Phoenix Zoo as part of its 17-city “From Wisconsin With Love” food truck tour.

Culver’s is proud of its small-town heritage, delicious menu items and trademark hospitality – but in this event, guests will also enjoy an experience they simply couldn’t get anywhere else. From the chance to snap selfies face to face with a live dairy cow, see an 80-plus-lb. Phoenix-themed cheese sculpture being carved in real time and play frozen custard-themed Plinko to win exclusive Culver’s prizes, every aspect of the event is interactive.

“It’s always been our mission to bring a little bit of Wisconsin to our guests through delicious food and a commitment to caring for people,” said Culver’s co-founder Craig Culver. “This tour is all about celebrating our roots with our guests, and we can’t wait to have an unforgettable experience with people from all over the Phoenix area.”

Culver’s signature Wisconsin Cheese Curds and Fresh Frozen Custard, two of the menu items that make the brand famous across 25 states, will be available for free at the event. Culver’s first-ever food truck, wrapped in an eye-catching illustrated scene including farm fields and dairy cows, will be serving up the treats to guests as they enjoy the rest of the event’s attractions.

Beyond delivering a delicious treat and a slice of America’s Dairyland to guests, Culver’s is demonstrating its commitment to playing an active role in its communities by giving guests the opportunity to vote for which of two local charities will receive a donation from Culver’s: Phoenix Children’s Hospital or St. Mary’s Food Bank. Guests will be able to cast their vote by placing a token in a life-sized glass cow, with Culver’s making a $5,000 donation to the leading vote recipient.

The Phoenix event is the second stop on the tour, which currently has plans to visit 16 confirmed cities across 14 states, as well as a 17th destination to be voted on by guests as the tour progresses. Guests can vote for the tour to visit their city in the From Wisconsin With Love Sweepstakes beginning on May 9.
