Three cheers, or perhaps five cheers, to Match Restaurant and Lounge on the announcement of the restaurant’s five-course beer pairing dinner set for Friday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. Each beer is paired with a creative course designed by the chef to enhance the flavors of the meal… and the brew!
- 1stcourse: House-made Crackerjacks — Carmel-coated popcorn with Spanish peanuts;paired with Odell 90 Schilling Scottish Style Ale
- 2ndCourse: Bavarian-Style Pretzel with beer cheese; paired with Rogue Dead Guy Ale
- 3rdCourse: Fried Chicken Wings with mild buffalo sauce, fresh roasted garlic and cilantro; paired with Stone Arrogant Bastard
- 4th Course: Beer Brat Carbonara Pasta — Pappardelle pasta with beer-braised bratwurst, sautéed onion, fresh tomatoes and crispy bacon finished with a poached egg; paired with Firestone Walker Rosalie Beer-Wine Hybrid
- 5th Course: Churro Dog — Donut bun topped with a churro (hot dog), vanilla ice cream, chocolate and caramel paired with Southern Tier Imperial Cinnamon Roll
