Arcosanti Hosts Jazz Guitar Brunch Featuring Live Music by Andreas Kapsalis March 15

For the fifth year in a row, Chicago’s own Andreas Kapsalis returns to Arcosanti: an Urban Laboratory in Mayer, Arizona, just an hour north of Phoenix, for the popular Jazz Guitar Brunch on Sunday, March 15.

Guests are invited to enjoy a Greek-inspired brunch beginning at 11:00 a.m., with Kapsalis taking the stage at 12:30 p.m. to entertain guests with his self-developed ten finger-tapping guitar technique, weaving a rich musical tapestry of music that pays homage to the genres of world, new folk, rock, blues, and modern music. Brunch features a buffet-style menu featuring:

Kagianas — Scrambled eggs with tomatoes and feta
Batzina — Savory pie featuring butternut squash and feta
Spanakopita — Spinach and feta in a light phyllo dough crust
Frouta Ke Yaourti — Fruit salad with yogurt
Baklava — Phyllo dough and chopped nuts sweetened with local Sonoran honey
Sides — Sliced melon, olive and feta bread, tahini honey spread, and hummus and vegetables
Drinks — Hot tea, coffee and juice

Each adult brunch purchase includes one complimentary mimosa. Brunch and performance will take place in the Ceramics Apse. General admission is $25 for adults and $15 for students; children 12 and under are free (not including brunch). Cost including one brunch plate is $40 per person; $30 for students.
